Help my unbelief.
(Mark 9.14-29) - Jesus, Peter, and Jean Jacques, joining the other disciples, they saw a large crowd around them, and scribes arguing with them. As soon as she saw Jesus, the whole crowd was amazed, and people flocked to greet him. He asked: "What are you discussing with them? A man in the crowd answered him, "Teacher, I brought my son, he is possessed by a spirit that makes dumb spirit seizes him anywhere, he throws the earth, child foam, grinds his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to expel this spirit, but they failed. "Jesus said to them:" unbelieving generation, how long should I stay with you? How long will I endure you? Bring him to me. To help our thinking ... - How many times do we do what seems to be our task, not including real God. We are quick to see the obstacles and find our apologies.
- Our task? ... Jesus let them participate in the "raise".
- often we forget to ask ourselves if what we do is God's will ... When we exclude God from our work or our family life, we lack faith. It is there ... but we let him no room to act.
- To them and to us that Jesus speaks saying, "O generation of little faith! "
- Is what I'm showing a lack of faith in my work and family life?

- This humble confession must always rest on the greatness of the power of God and all of his love.
- Jesus does not criticize our struggles to believe, but rather our lack of effort when our faith falters.
- What the apostles were unable to do so, the father of the sick child accomplishes by a short but intense prayer: " Help my unbelief! "

is the essence of catechesis offered for Lent,
with two resource persons:
- Bishop Joseph Yvon Moreau, bishop of our diocese
- Father Michel Talbot, pastor of St. Jean-Port-Joli and biblical scholar.
Lessons and practical workshops will be offered.
