Help my unbelief.

(Mark 9.14-29) - Jesus, Peter, and Jean Jacques, joining the other disciples, they saw a large crowd around them, and scribes arguing with them. As soon as she saw Jesus, the whole crowd was amazed, and people flocked to greet him. He asked: "What are you discussing with them? A man in the crowd answered him, "Teacher, I brought my son, he is possessed by a spirit that makes dumb spirit seizes him anywhere, he throws the earth, child foam, grinds his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to expel this spirit, but they failed. "Jesus said to them:" unbelieving generation, how long should I stay with you? How long will I endure you? Bring him to me. "He was brought to him. When he saw Jesus, the mind violently shook the child, he fell, he rolled on the floor, skimming. Jesus asked the father: "How is there time it happens to him? He said: "Since his early childhood. And often he has even thrown in the fire or water to destroy him. But if you really can do anything, just to help us out of pity for us! Jesus replied: "Why say, 'If you can' ... ? Everything is possible for him who believes. "Immediately the boy's father exclaimed," I believe! Help thou my unbelief! "Jesus saw the crowds would gather, rebuked the evil spirit:" Spirit who go deaf and dumb, I command you, come out of him and enter no more! "The spirit screamed, shook violently and left the child. The boy became like a corpse, so that everybody said: "He is dead. "But Jesus, seizing her hand, raised him, and he stood up. When Jesus was come home, alone with his disciples, they questioned him in particular: "Why is it that we, we could not deport him? "Jesus replied:" Nothing can make this case out there, except prayer. "

To help our thinking ...

- How many times do we do what seems to be our task, not including real God. We are quick to see the obstacles and find our apologies.
- Our task? ... Jesus let them participate in the "raise".
- often we forget to ask ourselves if what we do is God's will ... When we exclude God from our work or our family life, we lack faith. It is there ... but we let him no room to act.
- To them and to us that Jesus speaks saying, "O generation of little faith! "
- Is what I'm showing a lack of faith in my work and family life?
- Do we lack faith too? ...
- Jesus reminded the apostles need to pray.
- What does Christ in my life to invite me to greater faith?
- Do I respond with faith, or is it that I just discussed, since Jesus does not appear now?
- The call comes from the father's heart enough for Jesus to release the evil spirit. The man proclaims his faith by admitting his weakness.
- How many times do we assume our faith as sufficient, while blaming God for what happens in our lives?
- Belief is not easy ... This requires continual recognition of our limitations, our inability to understand the "why" so many events and the "how" of so many challenges.
- This humble confession must always rest on the greatness of the power of God and all of his love.
- Jesus does not criticize our struggles to believe, but rather our lack of effort when our faith falters.
- What the apostles were unable to do so, the father of the sick child accomplishes by a short but intense prayer: " Help my unbelief! "
- Do I believe anything is possible if only I think?

Message education for prayer groups

" My beloved brothers and sisters,

Under the Light of the Eternal Father and in all the Love of God Jesus and His Mother the Blessed Virgin Mary is yours, I command you this message that is relevant in a world where everything goes to the disaster and where the suffering caused by sin often dominates in many hearts.

Your existence is a struggle and a continuous struggle against the powers and the powers of the devil. You do not have to treat as insignificant the devastating action that can act at the heart of your families, your children especially, in your workplace, associations that you can attend and even in the church, where those who are the service of God are the most insidiously and violently attacked. You have to pray much for them. Given all

evil spirits, visible and invisible, you have no right to be warm and flee but you morph into true fighters of the Faith. Consider that you are fighting at the foot of the Cross and so you open wide the Gate of Heaven.

When the evil overwhelms you, either by temptations, fixed ideas, and even fears you have no right to indulge in despondency. Weapon of the devil, discouragement kills faith in you, and you deal with disarmament issues, which are often minimal, difficulties, crises of your life would do this only by disease or age. That is by discouragement, laziness and indolence penetrates the spiritual claws deep into your life.

When you feel angry and want to criticize your neighbor, quit this harmful addiction and make a prayer if it is a sign of the cross that will rout the evil spirit that influences you.

In this struggle against evil forces, give your heart to Jesus. It will open the road and go before you.

In your journey, you often have to make choices and without hesitation, choose what is most pleasing to God and that will dictate the Holy Spirit.

All in all you still prefer to Christ. It is certain that you try to do some layoffs, to undergo aggressiveness and even persecution. You have to stand firm for Christ has conquered the world of evil, aggression. For love, put Jesus in the first place and then you will be able to accept losing even those who are dearest to you.

Assume that nothing is more contrary to the Christian spirit that fear of the devil, it is certain that you do not underestimate your enemy, and without fear, to put it on the ground, put "Armor of God by spreading the Gospel of Peace.

In spiritual warfare, all you have to take, prayer is essential, it was the weapon of Jesus who spent long nights in prayer and that the usual way. He has recommended to the apostles "Pray!" Reminding them that if the spirit is strong, the flesh is weak. You'll drive out and vanquished the devil by the intimate union with God is stronger than Satan and all his meanness.

In heaven's sake, my beloved brothers and sisters, with your family and under the Light of the Eternal Father, we bless you in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

John, your messenger of love of Heaven

Here's good news for today ...

What is my life ...?

(Mark 8,34-38.9,1) - summoned the crowd with his disciples, he said: "If anyone wishes to come after me must deny to himself, take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel will save it. What advantage, indeed, a man is there to gain the whole world and forfeit his life? How much could he give in exchange for his life? If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son Rights also will be ashamed of him when he comes in the glory of his Father with the angels. And he told them: "Amen, I say to you, among those who are here, some will not experience death before they see the kingdom of God come with power. "
----
To help our thinking ...

1. The requirements to become a disciple.
Christ's invitation to be his disciple - "follow me" - implies in his footsteps in every circumstance of life: the times arid abandonment under heavy rain and stormy seas of my passions, amid clear blue skies and gentle breezes of days of calm, facing the thunder and lightning of persecution ...
- This means embracing the cross and carry it with love, every day climb to Calvary alongside Jesus. The cross is my boarding pass, the key to open the gates of heaven ...
- Before resurrecting, Jesus ascended Calvary and suffered the agony of the crucifixion, how do I want a different life than one who invites me to follow a friend? ...

2. The sacrifice and selflessness: the essential traits of a true disciple.
The original sin caused disorders that require us to regain verticality morality, and it is through the virtue of selflessness, which then has a healing effect on our fallen human nature. The effects of original sin, we tend to continually pull away from what we are called to be: children of light, children of God. But, as our God is great! As it is merciful! Jesus promises us that whoever loses his life for him and for the Gospel save it for all eternity! How wonderful it would introduce us to hear Jesus to God the Father on Judgement Day saying, "Father, here is my faithful friend."
3. Where is the treasure of your heart?
Jesus in the Gospel tells us that "where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." (Mt 6, 21). He also warns, "No man can serve two masters: either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will hold to the one and despise the other. You can not serve God and mammon. "(Mt 6, 24) ...
- My life is a gift from God and my life is basically a preparation for eternity with him in heaven. Letting myself be distracted by creatures, or by making myself the supreme good of my life, I put the Creator in his creatures below. My real treasure is in being a creature redeemed by God, a child much like him ...

Here is the Word of God for today ...

"And you, what do you say ?..."

(Mark 8.27-33) - Jesus would went with his disciples to the villages in the region of Caesarea Philippi. Along the way, he questioned: "For people, who am I? They replied: "John the Baptist, others Elijah, others, one of the prophets. And he asked them again: "And you, what say you? For you, who am I? Peter spoke and answered: "You are the Messiah. He forbade them to speak so highly of him personally. And for 1a first time he had taught them that the Son of Man must suffer greatly and be rejected by the elders, chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and that three days after he revived. He said this openly. Peter, taking him aside and began to rebuke him for. But Jesus turning and seeing his disciples, he rebuked Peter: "Get behind me Satan! Your thoughts are not those of God, but of men. "
----
To help our thinking ...

1. Who do men say that I am?
What a strange question if you think about it. Jesus does not ask what they thought of his teaching ... He did not care to gain popularity. He wanted to know if the people of God recognized him for who he was ...
Either you believe that Jesus is Lord or not ...
If you believe that Jesus is Lord, then you must be a faithful servant and obey him.
If you do not listen to the truth of his message, you will only condemn you. Jesus was not lying, he was not insane.
He is, he was, and it will always be the Lord of life and history. Let's hear it!

2. The Son of Man must suffer. "
This course was difficult to accept for his followers ....
It is more difficult for Christians to fully understand the mystery of Christ's love, which was shown at the highest level on the wood of the cross ...
Not only Christ suffered and died for us, but he wants to suffer with us and accompany us through all the trials and tribulations of life ...
He wanted to become subject to all sorts of torture and suffering out of love for us that we really understood that our God will never abandon us ...
In other words no one can say, "God does not realize that I suffered" ...
God knows exactly what we experience; with him there is always hope and promise life. ..

3. Get behind me Satan!
is a stern rebuke. It shows how Christ takes its mission seriously. He would not let anyone get in the way of performing the work of our redemption ...
Jesus read in Peter's heart and he detected a lack of purity of intention in his words. That is to say that Peter did not feel as concerned about the well of Jesus by his own plans and dreams. Pierre was still hoping a reputation and a fortune down here. He probably hoped restoration of the nation of Israel, not to mention the fall of the Roman Empire!
Jesus meant that the purpose of his mission is clear. Christ's kingdom is not of this world.
It is imbued with faith and not strength. It is based on grace and not greed ...

From the hymn this morning
(in the Liturgy of the Hours)

Bless him, he comes
The Lord our God!
We open our doors, do not be afraid!
For the Lord comes to us
It comes as the poor
humbly!

Bless him, he comes
The Lord our God!
Let him who speaks.
Get out of error!
Give us the grace to listen
Christ of Promise
he cometh to redeem ourselves!

Bless him, he comes,
The Lord our God!
It shows all the humble
The face of the Saviour!
He shared the glory and power
That one day we can share with him.

Bless him, he comes
The Lord our God!
It gives sufferers and "eras"
The peace of the Good Shepherd.
He is gentle and humble of heart
His burden is light to wear!
And he leads us
Up Freedom!

Blessed be the Lord our God!

Amen
